She interacts with clients throughout the course of our representation, maintaining open lines of communication between the firm and providing the client with answers to many of their questions.
Janice became a paralegal in 1983, and starting working in the employment law field in 1985 as a paralegal with Nelkin & Nelkin, in Houston, Texas, where she met Margie. Later, after Margie opened Butler & Harris, Janice was a much-welcome addition to the firm in 1994.
Janice is a magna cum laude graduate of Texas State University (formerly known as Southwest Texas State), with a degree in psychology.
Janice is proud of her work with Homes with Hope, an organization dedicated to taking responsibility for children at risk and providing support for the foster families who care for them. It helps to provide quality homes for these children, support the families who care for them and participates in proactive solutions to the abuse, neglect and abandonment of children at risk in our city.
